A New Day for Colorado Boat Center

Anyone coming by the Colorado Boat Center these days will notice something big is happening here. We’ve undertaken a large construction project that will give us a more efficient facility and allow us to better serve boaters.

The project will move our entire operation into one building. It will give customers access to shopping and service under one roof. It also allows for convenient covered drop-off for boat service, customer-friendly lot conditions, more efficient staff coverage for quicker service, and it will make for a larger indoor showroom space.

The project is already underway. The parts, accessories and front-end service have been completely moved into the south building. Customers are asked to use the south entrance during construction.  Construction traffic will be using the north entrance during construction and with the exception of the construction area will be fenced off to protect our day-to-day business operations.

Construction will take place during the off-season. It will include taking down the front end of our north building this fall, erecting the new building exterior during the winter and eventually demolishing the south building next spring. The entire project should be done around May 22 of next year, just in time for the boating season to kick into high gear.

In other news at Colorado Boat Center, right now is winterization time. This year, we’re offering an early bird special. Boats dropped off before September 24 and picked up by September 30 will receive a $25 CBC gift card (the gift card cannot be applied to winterization RO).

Off-site storage has been secured for the 2016-2017 season. Pre-paid 6 month storage between November 1 and April 30 for boats up to 25’ is $250 and for boats 25’ and over is $270. Additional months prior to November will be at a rate of $45 per month. All storage boats must be picked up by April 30, 2017 and boats must be shrink-wrapped.

Also, email notices will be sent when boats are scheduled for service and when the service has been completed. Once completed, customers will have 72 hours to pick up the boat, arrange for delivery or be charged a daily fee of $10.

CBC is offering curbside delivery of your boat after the service has been completed. Distance will be limited and prices will vary. Someone must be home at the time of delivery and the boat will only be left at curbside. Please contact the service department for pricing.
