Annual Boating Classes Announced: Men and Women Invited to Attend!

Sixteen years ago, Colorado Boat Center first offered a day of classes in basic boating skills in response to requests we had from many of our women customers. Some were new to boating, and others just wanted to brush up on techniques.

Educators and experienced boaters will impart some basic boating skills, such as launching and loading, docking and trailering, as well as on-the-water navigation rules, some basic knot tying and more.

This year, our classes will be offered on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at the Boyd Lake State Park. We have two sessions: the morning classes will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; and the afternoon sessions from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Classes are free for up to 2 attendees from your family: additional family members can join for $25 each (if you purchased a boat from CBC, otherwise the fee is $50).

Whether you are a Woman who Makes Waves, or a Man in the Know, you are invited to join us. Registration is required and space is limited, so visit our event registration page and sign up today!
